DNA treatments

aftologes-therapeies1-shutterstock 52906495In our practice, we specialize in autologous treatments, using your own DNA to achieve beautiful, natural results. These therapies involve your own fat and the plasma found in your blood, which is rich in platelet growth factors. These treatments use elements of your own body, created by your own DNA and are therefore the safest, with no chance of a foreign body reaction.

For this reason we chose to specialize in these treatments, avoiding substances like silicone and collagen which can cause problems and minimizing the use of hyaluronic acid.

Fat is acquired with the method of liposuction, with the use of local tumescent anesthesia, painlessly, while you have full consciousness, with absolute safety. In some case, part of the fat removed is placed in other adjacent areas in a process called liposculpture.

Very often, we remove a small amount of fat from an area that there is an excess like the abdomen or the hips and we transfer it to the face, reversing the loss of fat that is brought about by aging and the tired expression caused by the hollowing of the cheek-bone area. This process is called lipofilling or fat-grafting. In this treatment we combine fat transfer with growth factors found in your plasma for an optimum result.

Autologous plasma is the other mainstay of our DNA treatments. Plasm is part of your blood and it contains platelets that secrete growth factors. These growth factors stimulate collagen production and healing. For this reason platelet rich plasma (PRP) is among other things great for mesotherapy, for hair-loss treatment and for speeding up recovery after laser treatments.

Mesotherapy - PRP

Tuesday, 24 February 2015

Your own Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is useful as a filler and as a mesotherapy, since it contains growth factors.

Acquiring PRP from you is as simple as giving a small amount of blood for a blood test. Your blood is then processed in front of your eyes to extract it. But why do we use it?

Platelets are essential in the healing process by transporting and secreting growth factors. For this reason PRP is useful because it enhances fibroblast, endothelial and epithelial cell multiplication leading to collagen formation, skin rejuvenation and tightening.

The ease of acquisition, the small amount of time required...

Platelet rich plasma (PRP) is one of the most recent advances in the treatment of hair loss.

But why do we use it?

Lipofilling - Lipotransfer

Monday, 23 February 2015

Our practice was one of the first to use this technique since we have been using liposuction and lipofilling (fat grafting) since 1995.

The procedure is painless and totally safe, since under local anesthesia we remove a small amount of fat (e.g. 20-30ml) from somewhere you don't need it and put it somewhere you have lost it! Usual places that we use fat are around the cheekbones and under the eyes for that 'always tired' look and in deep wrinkles around the mouth. It is also ideal for lip enhancement since it is the most natural and safe filler.

Placement of the...

Liposuction – Liposculpture

Tuesday, 24 February 2015

We have been using the method of Liposuction – Liposculpture since 1995, helping people improve aesthetically displeasing areas like "buns" and "love handles".

By removing and in some cases adding an amount of fat we can improve the shape of legs, buttocks, arms, and hands, while the results are very impressive under the jaw ("double jaw" or "double chin").

This method is totally safe and it takes place in our specially developed area under local anesthesia only. The use of local anesthesia alone ensures maximum safety as evidenced by a study published in the Journal of the American Academy of...
